- We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to inspire and lead our nursing team in delivering outstanding patient care. This role requires a leader who thrives on building teams, guiding clinical excellence, and shaping the future of nursing in a dynamic environment. Experience in behavioral health, including ASAM, COWS, and CIWA protocols, will enable you to make an immediate impact on the care we provide and the growth of our nursing staff.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm; flexibility required.
Location:
Laurel Run, PA (On‑site)
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Supervise Nursing Team:
Guide and support the nursing team to align with organizational goals, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee Nursing Operations:
Manage daily nursing operations, including time/attendance, payroll, staffing, and compliance with healthcare standards.
Provide Quality Care:
Ensure nursing staff provide high‑quality, medically directed care, collaborating with providers for health assessments and patient education.
Manage Staff Performance:
Supervise nursing team performance, ensuring timely assessments, accurate documentation, and compliance with health standards. Oversee staff orientation, competencies, and performance reviews.
Ensure Compliance & Standards:
Develop and review nursing policies and patient care standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including DEA and licensure standards.
Collaborate with Other Departments:
Foster positive relationships with clinical, medical, and support departments to ensure effective communication and integrated care.
Oversee Medication Administration:
Monitor medication administration processes, address errors, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Support Quality Assurance:
Audit nursing documentation and participate in regulatory audits to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and Joint Commission standards.
Promote Staff Development:
Provide ongoing education, training, and leadership development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
Maintain a Safe & Compliant Environment:
Ensure infection control and safety standards are met, and manage risk mitigation efforts within the nursing department.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing management role.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral and/or mental healthcare settings.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a nursing role.
Active RN license to practice nursing in the State of Pennsylvania.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school; MSN preferred.
Proven expertise in healthcare administration, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
Experience in multi‑department coordination.
