Job Overview
WGN Radio is looking to hire a full‑time Multimedia Account Executive. The role generates advertising revenue by calling established agencies and businesses, cold‑calling new prospects, and convincing potential clients of the merits of digital, audio, and video advertising.
Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $50,000–$85,000 annualized with commissions—commensurate with applicant’s experience and skill level with bonus potential.

Responsibilities
Drive growth within the local market by proactively seeking new business opportunities.
Identify client needs and deliver strategic advertising solutions across multiple platforms.
Build relationships with prospective clients and agencies.
Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to closing and post‑sale follow‑up.
Partner with clients and internal teams to create integrated, customized advertising campaigns spanning audio, digital, and other media channels.
Consistently exceed revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Regularly engage with clients to review goals, provide performance insights, and offer media strategy guidance.
Maintain knowledge of digital media trends and competitors.
Cold‑call, network, prospect, and negotiate with clients.
Make decisions, solve problems, and collaborate with teammates using available resources.
Demonstrate organization, professional demeanor, high energy, attention to detail, confidence, flexibility, and multitasking ability.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Expert communication and presentation skills—create and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
Tech‑savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new tools.
Collaborative team player—strong ability to work cross‑functionally.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
Valid driver’s license; clean driving record; willing to travel locally.
Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SEM, CTV, native advertising, or social media campaigns.
Experience with Wide Orbit traffic; knowledge of Nielsen and Scopica preferred.
