Overview Geosyntec is an international engineering and consulting firm. This role supports Project Managers in managing project cost, schedule, and administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interface with Project Administrator and Project Manager to ensure compliance with contract administration obligations.

Prepare proposals and project setups; follow‑up on client and subcontractor contracts; review employee expense reports.

Prepare subcontractor bid/quote requests and manage approvals.

Maintain subcontractor files and track invoices for timely processing.

Perform preliminary review of pre‑bills and draft progress reports for invoicing.

Monitor and track budgets, prepare change orders, and approve changes per PM guidance.

Track purchases through purchase orders and subcontracts, verify against budget, and process payments.

Compile and distribute project financial data, including percent completions and weekly/monthly reports; identify variances.

Organize and maintain electronic project files, including proposals and reports.

Coordinate health and safety plans with PM and Health and Safety Officer.

Track project deadlines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Act as liaison between departments, subcontractors, agencies, staff, and clients.

Collect and analyze cost and schedule variance data, progress trends, labor hours and costs, and earned value.

Track scope changes and report issues to PM.

Assist with invoicing and account payable coordination.

Participate in change control management as directed.

Perform related duties as required.

Travel to client or project sites and company locations as needed.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction or equivalent; 2 years of experience (or associate degree with 4 years of experience; or 6+ years of equivalent experience).

Advanced computer literacy: Windows environment, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), accounting software (e.g., BST), earned value software (PlanTrax), project scheduling (Microsoft Project).

Ability to read and analyze contracts, agreements, and scope of work.

Ability to compose correspondence, reports, procedure manuals, and presentations in company style.

Strong presentation and communication skills with professionals, teams, and clients.

Proficient in arithmetic operations and data interpretation.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Current U.S. work authorization; H‑1B and green‑card sponsorship not available.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $32.37 – $37.48 per hour (Seattle, WA) or $77,968.80 – $100,995 per year. Benefits include: 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, minimum 8 sick days, minimum 11 vacation days, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and other leave options.
