Responsibilities

Experience working collaboratively on projects while managing project timelines, ensuring completion of projects on time.

Knowledge of the design and constructability documentation and practices.

Support in the work of designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.

Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer‑assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

Assist in the design of electrical systems or portions of electrical systems.

Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.

Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.

Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.

Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.

Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.

Engage with the project team and participate in projects from design to construction.

Experience with project management and customer relations.

Work collaboratively in a team to design and execute complex projects under the direction of the team lead.

Foster key strategic relationships with various partners.

Ability to integrate and gain technical knowledge to become a reliable source of information to the engineering team.

Ability to interface with regulatory agencies and manufacturers/distributors.

Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in our database, maintaining confidentiality.

Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks and achieve a high level of execution.

Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Willing to travel as job requirement necessitates.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.

1-2 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering, or related field. To include experience in proper design and constructability.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.

Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.

Must be self‑motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in KE business strategies.

Have entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and be accountable for project decisions and actions.

Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.

Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay Range:

$80,000 - $135,000/year DOE
