We are seeking a VP‑level Senior Software Developer to lead development and implementation of analytics tools and APIs for quants and portfolio managers. You will provide technical leadership while remaining hands‑on: design, build, test, and deploy scalable front‑end UIs, high‑performance back‑end services, and APIs; translate quant and portfolio‑manager requirements into technical designs; collaborate with engineering, quant teams, and portfolio managers to define scope and priorities; own delivery, production reliability, and incident response; and mentor peers. Required Experience Strong Python proficiency, advanced SQL for complex data analysis, 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Familiarity with quantitative workflows or direct experience working with quant teams is required. Preferred: distributed systems or large‑scale data processing, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD. Front‑end JavaScript experience is a plus. The role requires clear communication, results orientation, and willingness to take on multiple roles to deliver solutions under time pressure. Technical Skills/Qualifications BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field. 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience. Strong Python proficiency. Strong Pandas and SQL proficiency. Familiarity with distributed systems, large‑scale data processing, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus. Front‑end development experience a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus. Salary Range: $175,000.00 – $240,000.00.
