DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role The IT Risk Management Associate will provide audit support (external and internal), participate in risk management activities, and partner with the project management office function to effectively assess and manage internal controls. The IT Risk Management Associate will support departmental initiatives and projects by coordinating activities with the IT subject matter experts and the business risk management team to drive process improvement. This position is highly visible and will support all levels of management to help achieve goals and objectives.
Your Primary Responsibilities
Participate in domain initiatives / projects – provides governance and process support to the domain while ensuring adherence to internal system development processes.
Teamwork – partner with other IT Risk Managers to identify best practices and monitor adherence to standard processes.
Documentation – coordinate process reviews for internal and external audits, compliance, and technology assessments using the PRC Framework.
Partner with control functions and other IT Risk Managers to support internal reviews or assessments.
Contribute to the development of Management Self‑Identified issues and manage the Issue Management process including reporting for the domain.
Perform Management Control Testing to assess control design and effectiveness and document results.
Review standards, policies, and procedures and perform a rationalization assessment to minimize duplicative guidelines.
Participate in issue sustainability assessments to prevent repeat issues.
Support the Process, Risks and Controls framework by identifying control improvements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Talents Needed for Success
Familiarity with audit and risk management principles.
Experience in IT and/or Financial Services; familiarity with software development or equivalent experience is preferred.
Effective communication skills.
Good time management skills.
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and big‑picture thinking.
