We are looking to hire a Sr. Brand Manager, Gourmet and Extracts immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview / Primary Purpose The Senior Brand Manager, Gourmet and Extracts, is responsible for managing McCormick’s $300M Gourmet and Extracts portfolios with significant growth ambitions. Responsibilities include delivering annual growth objectives, business forecasting and analysis of opportunities and risks, consumer research to drive insights, product development, creation of marketing campaigns, long‑term planning and strategy, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Growth Delivery (30 %) : Develop and execute strategies to achieve annual growth objectives. Translate long‑term plans into actionable goals aligned with company priorities.

Business Forecasting & Performance Analysis (20 %) : Lead forecasting processes, monitor performance, and identify risks and opportunities. Use data and insights to inform decisions and adjust plans dynamically.

Consumer Insights & Research (10 %) : Conduct consumer research to uncover trends and inform product development and marketing strategies. Leverage insights to drive innovation and improve customer experience.

Product Development & Innovation (15 %) : Partner cross‑functionally to develop new products and optimize existing offerings. Ensure alignment with consumer needs and brand positioning.

Marketing Campaign Development (10 %) : Collaborate on and oversee integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement. Manage creative execution and ensure consistency across channels.

People Management & Team Leadership (15 %) : Coach and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and high‑performance culture. Align team priorities with strategic objectives and enable collaboration.

Required Qualifications

Education:

BA in Marketing, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred

Experience:

8 years in marketing or sales with expertise in strategy design and execution

Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience

Experience managing direct reports and leading cross‑functional teams

Deep understanding of industry sector and competitive landscape

Strong business acumen and integration across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain

Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships

Effective interaction with all levels of management

Experience:

Experience navigating and influencing within McCormick or similar‑sized company

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
