Business Systems Analyst (Direct Hire)
Location:
Hodgkins, IL (local travel between nearby sites, all within 15 minutes) Salary Range:
$80,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience, education, and market alignment) NOTE:
Must have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. About the Opportunity
180 Engineering is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a respected organization in Hodgkins, IL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and collaborating across teams to align technology with business goals. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s WMS, ERP, and OMS systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and support ongoing growth. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for ERP, WMS, OMS, PIM, and EDI system support and enhancements. Manage, prioritize, and resolve system incidents and improvement requests with both internal teams and external vendors. Train and support staff to ensure efficient use of system features and workflows. Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications. Create and maintain documentation including project trackers, process maps, and training materials. Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements or upgrades. Collaborate with IT and business teams to plan and implement system upgrades and new initiatives. Conduct system testing and validation, guiding users through UAT. Provide after-hours support as needed for urgent or critical issues. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, must have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Proficiency with SQL and Python. Experience with ERP and WMS systems (ERP and/or AS). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience collaborating with third‑party vendors and service providers. Familiarity with integration tools or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica). Understanding of EDI processes and reporting tools such as Power BI. Solid project management skillset. Qualifications
Familiarity with on‑premises (Veeam) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure). Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.). Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, or similar tools. ERP/WMS systems management certifications. ITIL Foundation Certification. Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Benefits
