This role owns the company’s financial operations for a fast‑growing, multi‑location service business protecting commercial kitchens across the country. You will manage daily accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and audits while guiding a team through transformation and growth. The right leader is decisive, detail‑obsessed, and thrives in change. They bring strong GAAP knowledge, hands‑on operational finance experience and the confidence to partner directly with the President and senior leadership. Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Senior Controller Responsibilities
Lead daily accounting operations including AR, AP, cash flow, banking and reconciliations
Own month‑end and year‑end close
Deliver accurate financial statements and reporting on time
Build and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP and compliance standards are met
Manage company insurance programs and fleet‑related financials
Oversee audits and strengthen audit‑readiness across the business
Review and approve customer/vendor contracts and key financial commitments
Drive process improvements, system accuracy and best practices across financial systems
Lead, mentor and develop a growing team
Maintain strict confidentiality and data security for all financial information
Senior Controller Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibilities
Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting and audits
ERP experience; NetSuite strongly preferred
Service‑based, multi‑location industry experience
Strong leadership and communication with the ability to influence and partner cross‑functionally
Proven ability to perform in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
CPA strongly preferred
