Project Manager - Civil Construction

Rapidly growing Earthwork Contractor in Reno, NV is seeking a skilled, experienced Project Manager to oversee, manage and execute various construction projects. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management.
Senior Civil Project Manager Position will lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Budget and Cost Control: Develop and maintain project budgets, closely monitoring costs, and implementing cost‑saving strategies.
Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including architects, subcontractors, and construction crews, to ensure effective project execution.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and that project specifications are strictly adhered to.
Client Communication: Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues to maintain a smooth construction process.
Constructibility: Review and verify constructibility of the plans and specifications.
Close Out: Manage the project close out process including final punch list work, change orders, and O&M/Warranty documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of project management experience in grading, site‑work and pipe construction.
Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including plans, specifications and geotechnical reports.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
Manage change orders, RFIs and submittal process, and deliver projects on time and on budget.
Positive attitude, professional workmanship and excellent communication skills.
Detail oriented, organized and results driven with a sense of urgency.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Knowledge of HCSS HeavyJob/HeavyBid/Plans.
OSHA 10/30 certification.
Pay / Benefits Salary - $120,000-$145,000 annually
