SolarTech is hiring experienced Solar Installers and Foreman for clients across the Northern California and Bay Area. We offer consistent work, full benefits, and promote a team‑oriented culture. As a Solar Installer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to install, maintain, and service residential solar panel systems. Key Responsibilities
Install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, racking systems, and inverters on residential rooftops according to project plans and safety standards (OSHA).
Assist with site preparation, including measuring, layout, and ensuring safe work conditions.
Identify and address electrical, environmental, and safety hazards on site.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed solar systems.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and update job status as needed.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and company safety standards, including proper use of PPE.
Collaborate with project management and warehouse teams to coordinate materials and scheduling.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Attend ongoing training sessions to stay current on installation methods and safety procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant certifications a plus.
2+ years of experience in solar panel installation.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and safe ladder use.
Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions, including heat and confined spaces.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
OSHA 10‑Hour Construction Certificate.
Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation
Pay based on experience; Foreman will be above the stated pay range.
