Adobe is looking for a
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
to join a fast‑moving team focused on
rapidly prototyping new product ideas
and discovering market fit. This team operates at the intersection of
data, visualization, and AI , building interactive experiences that help users understand and act on insights in new ways. You’ll work across the stack to design and build
intelligent data visualization tools
powered by
large language models (LLMs)
and other emerging technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and product strategists to translate raw data into intuitive, visual, and intelligent experiences — and iterate rapidly to bring concepts to life. What You’ll Do
Design, build, and deploy
full-stack prototypes and data visualization experiences
that explore new product directions. Integrate
LLMs and generative AI APIs
(e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) to power intelligent visual analytics and data exploration features. Develop
modern, interactive front‑end visualizations
using frameworks like
React ,
D3 ,
Vega/Vega‑Lite , or similar. Build and maintain
robust back‑end services and APIs
to process, transform, and serve analytical data efficiently. Collaborate with designers, researchers, and PMs to
rapidly iterate
from concept to prototype to production‑quality implementation. Ensure data visualization performance, scalability, and accessibility across browsers and devices. Establish strong engineering practices for
testing, monitoring, and continuous integration/deployment , even in fast‑moving prototype environments. Stay current with evolving technologies in
AI, visualization, and data engineering , identifying opportunities to apply them to new product experiences. What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience
developing full-stack web applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in
fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments . Strong proficiency with
JavaScript/TypeScript ,
React , and
Node.js
(or comparable frameworks). Deep understanding of
data visualisation principles
and experience building interactive visuals using
D3 ,
Vega/Vega‑Lite ,
Chart.js , or similar libraries. Experience integrating
LLMs or AI APIs
into production applications. Strong skills in
data manipulation, transformation, and visualization . Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills; comfortable working across the stack. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or GCP . Nice to Have
Experience with
prompt engineering , vector databases, or custom AI‑driven data exploration tools. Background in
rapid prototyping
or startup‑style product development cycles. Passion for data visualization and data storytelling. Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as
Vega ,
Vega‑Lite , and
React Spectrum Charts . Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 – $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short‑term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
