What this job involves The Environmental, Health, Safety and Compliance Manager directs the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of JLL EHS management systems and small capital projects across diverse client facilities, including data centers and traditional office/commercial environments. You will provide guidance, identify necessary resources and equipment to implement EHS management systems and compliance programs across three client locations. As the EHS and Compliance Manager, you’ll advise the JLL management team on EHS issues, evaluate potential hazards and environmental impacts, conduct accident investigations, and ensure JLL maintains compliance with all regulatory and client requirements while supporting organizational change initiatives and facility transitions.
What is your day to day?
Providing leadership for EHS management systems and compliance programs at client sites, including specialized data center environments and conventional facilities
Conducting field assessments of contractor projects and activities across varied facility types
Establishing EHS performance goals with JLL Site Teams and tracking metrics against key performance indicators
Leading the implementation of appropriate EHS Committees based on site needs and facility complexity
Developing and managing EHS qualification programs for JLL service partners working in both data center and traditional facility environments
Evaluating and mitigating safety, health, and environmental hazards at client locations, with expertise in both mission‑critical and standard facility operations
Creating and maintaining inspection programs with regular schedules tailored to facility‑specific requirements
Supporting compliance initiatives and change management processes during facility upgrades, transitions, or regulatory updates
Identifying training requirements and coordinating sessions to meet regulatory and client needs across different facility types
Assisting with accident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
Maintaining collaborative partnerships with client EHS organizations
Providing support to Client HSE Team by conducting selected HSE activities as agreed by JLL and the client HSE
Managing compliance documentation and change control processes to ensure regulatory adherence during facility modifications
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience with EHS compliance and management systems, preferably in facility operations including data centers or mission‑critical environments
Broad knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety regulations in both general industry and construction
Experience with compliance management and change control processes in regulated environments
Proven success working with subcontractors/vendors on safety objectives across diverse facility types
Data analysis skills to identify EHS trends and compliance patterns
Ability to inspect both indoor and outdoor areas for compliance across various facility configurations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or related field
Master's degree or a professional designation like OHST, ASP, or CSP is desirable
Experience with data center operations and compliance requirements
Estimated compensation for this position 124,800.00 - 135,000.00 USD per year
• This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
