Job Summary The Sr. Inside Solution Architect-Mobility supports Account Managers by assisting them in the sale of solutions related to Mobility. The Sr. Inside Solution Architect-Mobility builds relationships and educates Account Managers on the technologies, resources, and pricing programs available to them. The Sr. Inside Solution Architect-Mobility develops and maintains strategic relationships with Sales Management of the teams they support and is seen as a trusted advisor to grow business. The Sr. Inside Solution Architect-Mobility is expected to be a subject matter expert in multiple families of Mobility solutions.
What you will do
Technology Leadership: Educate Account Managers by conducting short training classes on Mobility products, explaining features, benefits, and technical specifications of new secondary, emerging and complementary products and solutions.
Design solutions for secondary and emerging/complementary products and solutions.
Maintain expert level knowledge of multiple Mobility categories including vertical‑specific needs.
Share lessons learned and technical knowledge with other Inside Solution Architects and Account Managers regarding primary, secondary, emerging, and complementary products and solutions.
Answer questions and assist less experienced team members on using the tools of the job.
Stay abreast of changes and trends.
Attain role‑level certifications.
Sales Support: Consult with customers and partners to architect solutions, follow up on registrations and closed deals, and respond to escalation needs.
Monitor and renew service maintenance contracts.
Track sales leads and manage sales pipeline from lead to closure for sales over segment threshold.
Register and manage customer proposals in partner registration systems.
Produce quotes and BOMs, create quotes for high priority RFPs and/or assist with RFP content.
Produce sales forecast reports and review quotes and orders for accuracy.
Discuss solutions at a conceptual level with customers, explaining features and benefits.
Recommend and influence clients to include services that complement hardware/software proposals.
Explain the financial metrics that the solution achieves and use tools to calculate ROI for the customer.
Lead CDW events on business‑focused technology solution presentations for customers and prospects delivered via web‑based tools and in person.
Explore additional sales opportunities through new service maintenance contracts and renewals.
Negotiate pricing with partners and customers.
Collaborate with Partners and Account Managers to drive mapped opportunities and exceed joint sales goals.
What we expect of you
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
2 years of experience as ISA or 3 years of equivalent experience.
For internal applicants only: satisfactory internal customer scores, profit goal attainment, and certification accomplishment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Proven success and experience selling technology solutions and services.
Knowledge and proven success of engaging and working with sales teams.
Ability to execute on territory goals and metrics.
Adaptability and change readiness to meet business needs.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including consulting skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Passion for learning and teaching others.
Motivated and self‑starting.
Creative problem‑solving and proactive idea generation to increase sales.
Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and take initiative.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective communication with management, peers, and coworkers.
Willingness to travel up to 20% to other CDW locations, meeting, and client sites.
Basic instruction-following and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Proven success and experience selling technology solutions and services to state and local government customers.
Technical accreditations and/or certifications: active accreditation from leading Mobility Partners and successful completion of ISA accreditations.
Pay Range and Benefits Base pay range: $70,000 – $126,960 per year. Annual bonus target of 66.67% subject to plan terms and conditions.
