What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Monitor the effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures for registered mutual funds and their investment adviser
Administer the Code of Ethics program for the registered funds and adviser
Perform due diligence and oversight of external money managers’ compliance programs
Draft quarterly compliance reports for the board of trustees of the registered funds
Support responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations, identifying and communicating compliance issues
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA helpful but not required
5+ years of related experience in investment management or financial services industry
Ability to converse at an expert level on compliance matters related to mutual fund business
Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly in Word and Excel
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in compliance program administration, including Code of Ethics administration
Technical knowledge of third‑party diligence and monitoring tools (e.g., DiligenceVault, MyComplianceOffice)
Understanding of different asset classes and securities laws
Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
A flexible attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
