Job Description As part of the financial services risk advisory team that serves the banking industry, you will work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and assist in identifying and managing financial and operational risks within their processes and systems. The role focuses on financial services risk, especially in compliance, internal audit, governance, and data analytics.

What You Will Do
Assist in CECL consulting and validation services, including model validations and advisory engagements such as back‑testing, stress‑testing, and framework development.
Validate and analyze various financial and forecasting models – Asset/Liability Management, Liquidity, Mortgage Servicing Rights, Deposit‑based, and underwriting models.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives of community banks and credit unions.
Review financial institution model governance programs related to credit, interest rate, and liquidity risk.
Analyze large sets of financial data to identify value‑added observations and trends.
Continually grow your knowledge through external and internal education, training, and cross‑training opportunities.
Network and build strong relationships internally and externally.
Support the growth of team members through Baker Tilly’s Care and Teach philosophy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related program.
2‑4+ years of financial analyst experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL preferred.
Experience as a client‑serving professional for a consulting firm desired.
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time‑management skills.
