Relativity Space . At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. About the Team

Our product is the factory — and Factory Engineering ensures it performs today while designing what it becomes tomorrow — designing, instrumenting, and continuously improving the systems that enable hardware to flow. We work at the core of supply chain & manufacturing planning and execution, with end‑to‑end responsibility for how work moves through the factory, from layout and material flow to scheduling, ergonomics, automation interfaces, and the digital workflows that tie it all together. About the Role

Identify, analyze, and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, logistics, and ergonomics using data, simulations, and Lean Six Sigma methods. Lead cross‑functional initiatives to design and implement operational standards, capacity plans, factory/warehouse layouts, and material flow strategies. Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and audit tools to monitor and improve performance across manufacturing and distribution. Create standard operating procedures and workflow designs that enhance workforce efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and ergonomic standards. Recommend and execute system and process enhancements, including automation and data integrity improvements, to support scalable operations. About You

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field. 5+ years of industrial engineering experience, with strong expertise in capacity planning, factory/warehouse optimization, operations management, and project leadership. Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., A3, 8D, root cause analysis). Skilled in data analysis using Excel, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or equivalent); familiarity with 2D/3D design tools and simulation software like FlexSim. Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills with the ability to influence across business and technical teams. Nice to Have (But Not Required)

Experience with MRP/ERP systems and advanced analytics (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling). Background in logistics, distribution, or high‑complexity assembly‑driven manufacturing environments. Hands‑on experience designing and optimizing automated systems or data capture processes. Familiarity with MODAPTS, MOST, or other labor and time study strategies. Strong ability to tackle ill‑defined problems and deliver effective, scalable solutions. At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors. Compensation: $155,000—$197,000 USD. Relativity Space offers competitive salary and equity, a generous PTO and sick leave policy, parental leave, an annual learning and development stipend, and more.
