Overview
Vaco | Highspring has been engaged by a nationally recognized industry leader to identify a Field Human Resources Business Partner supporting operations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. This position plays a key role in building culture, engagement, and retention while partnering closely with field leadership and corporate HR. The role is field-based and visible, requiring an On-Site presence and approximately 35-40% average regional travel per year, with the majority of travel activity in the summer months. Base Salary:
$95,000-$105,000 Annual Bonus:
15 % discretionary Company Vehicle Provided

Provide day-to-day HR partnership and employee-relations guidance to managers and employees across assigned sites in three different states. Manage investigations, performance issues, and compliance matters (FMLA, ADA, policy interpretation) with professionalism and discretion. Partner with leadership to design and execute people strategies that enhance engagement, retention, and overall employee experience. Analyze HR metrics and data trends to develop practical, actionable insights. Maintain a strong field presence and visible connection with operations teams. Support the rollout of HR initiatives and systems; collaborate with HR peers and the HR Director on projects and process improvements. Qualifications & Experience
Must Have: Bachelor's degree
is a Must-Have Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience as a Strategic team member, including measurable, metric-driven impact in fast-paced, field-based operations. This position is an individual contributor—people management experience is not needed. Travel Flexibility:
Proven ability and comfortability to travel 35%-40% on an average yearly basis and work across multiple sites regionally during peak season (summer). Demonstrated success supporting 24/7 operations and ability to flex to off-hours as required. Strong track record with HR analytics/metrics (turnover, PT/FT, employee survey, learning/compliance), and experience driving measurable business outcomes. Experience supporting high-volume, field-based operations and hourly workforce populations (such as manufacturing, distribution/logistics, Hospitality or Retail). Experience working with Unionized employee groups is a plus but not required. Demonstrated success operating in organizations with multiple locations, complex schedules, and shifting priorities. Extensive experience handling employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. Strong track record of partnering with management to drive engagement, retention, and business outcomes. High comfort level with HR systems, data analysis, and reporting (prior experience with benefits, FMLA, onboarding, or similar platforms a plus). Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the region is a must. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification preferred. Ideal Candidate

Ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being visible in the field, partnering directly with operations, and driving measurable, people-centered results. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
