Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens; interprets, documents and reports results.
Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
Performs projects as assigned and serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
Utilizes critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision; works effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by AMT or MLS by ASCP (or categorical ASCP certification in a laboratory specialty/sub‑specialty applicable to the responsibilities).
