As the Program/Technical Advisor, you’ll provide scientific and programmatic expertise supporting one of STI Federal’s federal client organizations, helping guide data-driven decisions and advance research and development initiatives. You’ll contribute to the advancement of medical countermeasure initiatives by advising on data analysis, regulatory policy, and technical development. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess, integrate, and communicate scientific findings that inform program direction and strengthen mission outcomes. Your work will directly advance STI Federal’s mission to deliver exceptional support to federal partners serving critical initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
Advance scientific insight
– Provide subject matter expertise in technical, regulatory, or scientific areas supporting program objectives. Ensure data quality
– Conduct data cleaning, integration, analysis, and validation to maintain high research integrity and compliance. Support program evaluations
– Analyze reports, studies, and documentation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate collaboration
– Participate in meetings, working groups, and technical panels to enhance coordination across partners and stakeholders. Develop program documentation
– Prepare recommendations, presentations, and reports to guide scientific and operational decision-making. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for Success

Demonstrates foundational understanding of medical countermeasure development, including regulatory, clinical, or analytical domains. Maintains effective communication and presentation skills for engaging technical and non-technical audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, R, or other scientific analysis software tools. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, or physical sciences; engineering; or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Qualifications
Graduate degree in biological, chemical, or physical sciences; engineering; or related field. Experience with FDA/ICH guidelines, CDISC data standards, or medical countermeasure development programs. Compensation & Work Environment
Estimated Salary Range:
$90,000 - $115,000, dependent on experience. Environment:
Work will be performed at a secure facility in Washington, D.C., with potential for a hybrid schedule for candidates residing within 50 miles of the site. Note
