Position Summary The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for driving visual strategy and execution across two distinct brands, Altus Dental and Delta Dental, as well as multiple product lines. This role ensures consistent, high-quality, and compliant design work that protects and elevates brand recognition, engages target audiences, and supports business growth objectives.

The Senior Graphic Designer will collaborate with the communications team and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver creative assets for both digital and print channels. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design skills with brand management expertise and a strong understanding of regulatory standards and design compliance requirements.

Essential Functions

Lead design execution across two brands and multiple product lines, ensuring each maintains a distinct yet cohesive identity aligned with corporate standards.

Create and manage marketing collateral that supports product launches, member education and engagement, broker communications, including brochures, flyers, sales sheets, presentations, infographics, corporate stationery, business forms and annual reports.

Develop digital assets such as website graphics, social media images, email templates, digital advertisements, and landing pages that drive awareness and enrollment.

Ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance across all creative materials by partnering closely with marketing, compliance, and product teams.

Provide creative direction to external vendors to maintain quality and efficiency across brands.

Translate complex insurance information into visually engaging, consumer-friendly designs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with copywriters and product managers to align design solutions with business goals and target audience needs.

Source, edit, and retouch photography to support visual storytelling for multiple product lines.

Manage multiple concurrent projects across both brands, balancing creative excellence with tight deadlines.

Contribute to digital experience enhancements, ensuring that user interfaces and digital assets are visually accessible and optimized for engagement.

Stay informed on design trends, compliance standards, and consumer behavior in the insurance and healthcare benefits sectors to keep creative work relevant and effective.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Tools & Platforms

Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat

Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Marketing & Digital Tools: Constant Contact, Unbounce, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, iStock Photo, Flowcode/QR Code

Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, healthcare document management systems, and compliance review systems preferred.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in marketing, communications or agency settings. Experience with regulated industries such as insurance or healthcare is a plus.

Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

Experience producing both digital and print assets for integrated marketing campaigns.

Strong understanding of brand management, typography, layout, and color theory, with the ability to adapt design styles to distinct brand voices.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present creative concepts to stakeholders and non-design audiences.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Attention to detail and compliance awareness, especially when working with regulated content and disclosures.

Familiarity with healthcare terminology and consumer benefits communication is a plus.

Experience with motion graphics, UX/UI design, or data visualization is a plus.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Typical office environment, with the flexibility of hybrid work (up to two days per week) as appropriate.

Occasional travel for events may be needed.
