Job Overview
The Staff Engineer, iOS role at Movius is focused on building the next-generation AI‑powered mobile platform’s iOS applications. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, secure, enterprise‑grade applications while collaborating closely with product, backend, QA, and security teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise‑grade iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Objective‑C.
Architect solutions that align with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance standards for secure communications.
Establish and maintain observability and analytics frameworks for application health, performance monitoring, crash reporting, and user experience tracking.
Integrate iOS applications with backend services and REST APIs to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performance connectivity.
Apply established mobile design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or similar) to create maintainable, testable, and extensible codebases.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Management, Backend Engineering, QA, and Security to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery schedules.
Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including CI/CD automation, code reviews, and automated testing.
Stay current with Apple SDKs, frameworks, and industry best practices, recommending improvements to enhance application performance and maintainability.
Mentor and guide engineers to elevate team performance and technical standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10+ years of professional mobile development experience with a concentration in iOS applications.
Proven track record of delivering secure, enterprise‑scale iOS applications.
Advanced proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Objective‑C, and Xcode.
Strong knowledge of application security principles, data protection, and encryption frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with observability platforms.
