What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide expert consultation and guidance for cloud implementations, including planning, development, and coordination of information systems
Design, construct, operate, and maintain infrastructure platforms for hosting applications, including SaaS, PaaS, and COTS
Support and collaborate with state organizations to manage a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment
Conduct comprehensive analysis and migration of existing systems to modern solutions
Ensure adherence to the agency's cloud adoption framework while providing architectural and testing guidance
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of six (6) years of information systems experience, including deploying production solutions in at least one leading cloud computing platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and lifecycle configuration management
Proven experience in cloud-native development, DevOps, and CI/CD
An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with two (2) years of relevant experience
A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all previous experience requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Proficiency in deploying solutions to cloud platforms and in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
Experience in cloud application monitoring, support, and incident response
Understanding of cloud-native development, DevOps, CI/CD, and administration tools for identity and resource management
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, including containers and VMs
Experience developing and supporting data pipelines and cloud security controls
