Senior IT Project Manager
to join our client’s team in St. Paul. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage complex programs, and deliver strategic outcomes using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Lead technical projects primarily within the Infrastructure, Network, and Security teams
Develop comprehensive project plans using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Define scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution
Lead and coach project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts
Build strong stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to sponsors
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executive leadership
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively
Lead transformation and change management efforts to ensure solution adoption
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
10+ years of experience managing IT and business projects
2+ years in a lead role collaborating across divisions and stakeholder levels
Strong experience with MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, and GitHub
Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with PPM tools and enterprise PMO environments
Cybersecurity knowledge (CISSP, CISM)
Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
Infrastructure and cloud experience (ITIL, Azure, AWS)
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco (CCNP), Palo Alto (PCNSE), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Education & Certifications You Need
High school diploma or GED plus 9 years of experience
Associate’s degree counts as 2 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher counts as 4 years of experience
PMP or PgMP Certification
CSM or SAFe Certification
