The

Mechanical Engineer

will be responsible for the

full lifecycle management

of critical mechanical systems used in gas processing operations — from design and specification through commissioning and long‑term support. This role combines

technical design expertise with hands‑on project execution , ensuring equipment reliability, code compliance, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams to design, procure, install, and optimize high‑performance mechanical systems that support safe, efficient, and sustainable facility operations. Key Responsibilities

Equipment Lifecycle Management:

Oversee specification, selection, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to meet process and safety standards. Code Compliance:

Ensure adherence to ASME Section VIII, Division 1, and ASME B31.3 standards for all pressure vessels and process piping designs. Project Execution:

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Process, Electrical, and Controls engineers to deliver integrated system solutions. Technical Support:

Act as the

subject matter expert

for key rotating equipment, providing troubleshooting guidance and maintenance strategies. Project Engineering:

Manage project scope, schedule, and budget from concept through commissioning, ensuring on‑time and within‑cost delivery. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for system optimization, process reliability, and sustainable design initiatives. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical processing environments. Strong working knowledge of

ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Div. 1)

and

Process Piping Code (B31.3) . Proven experience with

rotating equipment and mechanical systems

in industrial settings. Demonstrated

hands‑on troubleshooting ability

and strong technical judgment. Excellent

leadership, problem‑solving, and communication

skills. Experience in

environmental sustainability ,

biogas ,

renewable energy , or

waste treatment

industries preferred. Ability to travel up to

50% . Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications

Direct design or operational experience with

centrifugal blowers ,

oil‑flooded screw compressors , or

industrial mixers . Experience with

project management , cost tracking, and schedule control. Familiarity with

gas processing, oil & gas, or chemical

industries. Military technical training (a plus). Knowledge of

industrial gases

and

pipeline safety

standards preferred. Required Skills
