Senior Reimbursement Analyst
to join one of our top clients in Sacramento, CA. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial backbone of hospital operations by ensuring accurate reporting and revenue recovery from Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, and other regulatory programs. Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Senior Reimbursement Analyst
Provide comprehensive support for systemwide reimbursement and cost reporting functions across all affiliates. Prepare and file accurate Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, and other regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Conduct detailed financial analyses and reconciliations to support hospital cost accounting and reimbursement processes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including affiliate CFOs, to review findings and finalize report submissions. Contribute to process improvements and provide training on cost report preparation and regulatory changes. Required Skills for Senior Reimbursement Analyst
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of recent experience in healthcare reimbursement, cost reporting, or financial analysis. Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and healthcare regulatory reimbursement. Proficiency in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data reconciliation. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. What's in it for you?
