Quality Engineering Lead – Guidewire PolicyCenterClient

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Lead with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter testing and quality engineering strategy. The ideal candidate will lead a team of quality engineers, define testing best practices, and drive automation and continuous quality improvements across Guidewire implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, implementing best practices, standards, and metrics for quality assurance.
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies encompassing functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and SRE testing.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and enable end‑to‑end automation using Playwright frameworks for Guidewire UI and APIs.
Drive test automation strategy and implement a shift‑left approach for early defect detection and improved product quality.
Manage and oversee system defect tracking, SIT (System Integration Testing), and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with development teams.
Monitor test coverage, reliability, and performance metrics to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
Generate and present quality dashboards, metrics, and reports to key stakeholders.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent tools.
Must‑Have Skills
Guidewire PolicyCenter Test Execution & Management – 5+ years
Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation – 5+ years
System Defect Management and SIT with strong Guidewire domain experience – 5+ years
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and their integrations.
Familiarity with Guidewire Configuration and Integration frameworks (GOSU scripting, data model customization, web services).
Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) for Guidewire and related middleware or integration layers.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (required).
Industry Experience:
Mandatory – must have direct Guidewire platform experience.
Extension Possibility:
High.
Skill Level:
Test Execution and Management (P4 – Expert).
Travel & Expenses:
Not covered by client (project covers travel costs).
