Position Summary The role involves supporting the Commercial Lending and Portfolio Management team by maintaining client relationships, collecting financial and related data, conducting monetary transactions, and providing customer service. Responsibilities also include managing loan and credit file documentation to ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. In addition, this position will assist in the training, development, and performance monitoring of direct reports.
Essential Functions
Areas of concentration include commercial term loans and lines of credit; consisting of Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), 1-4 Family, Multi‑Family, Leases, and Small Business Administration (SBA) Guaranteed Loans.
Maintains client relationships through: working with title companies, attorneys, and insurance companies to request documents for loan files, loan closings, settlement statements, recording of collateral, etc.
Performing all due diligence related to commercial loan closings: order/review title policies, lien searches, credit reports, OFAC, borrower organizational documents, COGS, flood zone determinations, order appraisals/Environmental Phase I, property tax escrow calculations, trust documentation, HMDA, CIP, CRA.
Requesting appropriate loan documents & reviewing loan closing documents/packages to prepare for loan closings and working with Loan Operations to ensure proper booking of loan and processing of fees.
Ensuring that all Conditions to Close have been met prior to loan closing.
Serving as a contact and a conduit for commercial clients’ needs, including handling monetary transactions.
Communicating with clients to obtain required financial information & other information needed to conduct business and maintain the integrity of their commercial loan file.
Maintaining the borrowers’ Document Library by coordinating the updating of ticklers & preparing the file for imaging.
Assisting commercial lenders by scheduling & facilitating loan closings or other meetings with the borrower.
Report management.
Clear post‑closing findings discovered by the loan review team.
Adhering to all bank regulatory requirements, policies & procedures, and compliance guidelines.
Assisting with training, development, and performance monitoring of other BBA team members.
Supervisory Responsibilities This is a working BBA position that supervises a team of Business Banking Associates. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and development of these employees.

Supervisory experience preferred.
High school degree or GED required.
4‑year college degree in a business‑related field preferred.
Experience in the financial industry required.
6+ years BBA or similar experience preferred.
Superior skill set in the use of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Comprehensive skill set in Fiserv & Abrigo preferred.
Compensation And Benefits Annual salary DOQ: $58,097 - $82,996 - $107,895.
