We are looking for a CT Technologist to join our team! This is a PRN position. We are seeking a registered CT Technologist with excellent communication skills. The CT Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic examinations.
Primary Duties
Acquire ordered images and evaluate them for technical quality; send images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas; report any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions; maintain CT and other equipment in efficient operating order; perform preventive maintenance regularly.
Obtain patient history, answer patient questions, and explain procedures; transport patients to the radiographic room and prepare and maintain the room.
Perform radiographic examinations; prepare written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
Request and order supplies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland and CT certified.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Associate degree preferred.
Salary USD $39.25 - $64.71 /Hr.
