Role Summary
The SharePoint Engineering team is responsible for the build of the SharePoint platform On-prem and cloud for firmwide collaboration as well as application hosting & development. The role involves design, development and integration of Office 365 SharePoint services, governance and migration activities, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors to deliver strategic solutions.
Responsibilities
Hands-on development work as a SharePoint developer with C#, ASP.NET and PowerShell.
Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, permissions, workflows and related components.
On-premises and Office 365/SharePoint Online development, deployment and governance tasks.
Integrate Office 365 services (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, MIP) and manage OneDrive/SharePoint configurations.
Collaborate with end users, business owners and MD/ED leadership; communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
Capture requirements, deliver on time, and participate in SDLC and agile processes.
Research and propose new features; demonstrate SharePoint capabilities to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong C#, ASP.NET and PowerShell development skills.
Deep understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, Azure AD applications; SharePoint site/group permissions; OneDrive account/site/permissions management.
Experience troubleshooting OneDrive and SharePoint sync clients (Desktop/Web/Mobile).
Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS for page/component development.
Ability to develop applications and tools for on-premises and cloud infrastructure; experience with GitHub, Jira and SDLC/agile practices.
Strong SharePoint fundamentals (lists, libraries, permissions, content types, workflows) and SSO technologies (e.g., Ping Federate, SAML, Windows Kerberos).
Experience with Office 365 (SharePoint Online and OneDrive) development, management and deployment; understanding of Exchange Online, user profiles and mail flow.
Good communication skills; ability to train end users on SharePoint tasks and conduct trainings.
Experience with Agile delivery; on-prem/online networking experience (e.g., Wireshark) and knowledge of MIP.
Desirable: SQL programming; familiarity with Unified Groups/Teams/PowerApps/PowerAutomate.
