Security Professional - Utilities Patrol

Pueblo County, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. This part‑time security officer position gives you the freedom to build a flexible schedule while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

$21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities, with focus on typical utility locations.
Monitor for unusual activities or persons while on patrol and report findings per site protocols.
Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation in accordance with all applicable laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
