Localization Engineer MTS
Join us as a Localization Engineer to build scalable AI‑driven solutions that enable Commerce Cloud products and content to function seamlessly in multiple languages.
Location: Burlington, MA Salary range: $125,700 - $172,800

Responsibilities
Workflow automation: Implement scalable pipelines for automating translation, content extraction, and quality assurance processes using AI tools.
In‑context testing: Prepare and execute in‑context testing for UI and content translations, ensuring the highest linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness in line with Salesforce international terminology and style guides.
Technical support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support to linguists, product managers, and other stakeholders, and troubleshoot issues within the localization pipeline.
Test automation development: Enhance existing and develop new robust localization testing frameworks as part of multilingual quality assurance.
Research and innovation: Stay current with advances in localization technologies, multilingual AI frameworks, NLP, NMT, and industry trends, recommending improvements to current processes.
Required Qualifications
A related technical degree.
3+ years of experience in localization engineering and/or localization quality assurance and software engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages/frameworks commonly used in automation, such as Java and Selenium.
Deep understanding of localization and internationalization (i18n) principles, including file formats (e.g., XLIFF, JSON) and translation management systems.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex technical and linguistic issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of multiple human languages and globalization best practices.
Experience with cloud‑based translation or localization platforms.
