Responsibilities The AVP, Regional Retail Distribution Sales Operations is responsible for driving the development and execution of disciplined sales processes and efficient workflows, delivering strategic operational support and actionable business insights to empower the distribution sales team and Agency partners to achieve sales goals. This experienced leader excels at building foundational structures, transforming business intelligence into impactful support, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies and workflows.

Provide day-to-day operational support necessary to enable the distribution sales team to consistently achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Lead the design and implementation of robust sales processes and streamlined workflows to support the success of distribution sales team and agency partners.

Establish and manage the process to track sales activities and correlate to sales results to inform decision making and drive performance management for both the distribution sales team and agency partners.

Convert business intelligence into practical solutions, ensuring sales strategies are executed smoothly and foundational structures are firmly established.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 5+ years of experience with an insurance carrier, supporting and driving operational excellence of a distribution sales team within the Independent Agency channel.

Proven track record in developing, optimizing, and maintaining sales workflows, reporting on sales strategies, and executing disciplined sales processes to achieve profitable growth.

Proven ability to analyze sales data, correlate sales activities to sales results and leverage KPI’s for performance management and continuous improvement.

Strong technical acumen in specifying requirements and implementing AMS/CRM solutions for distribution teams.

Tenacious curiosity and desire to make a difference.

Excellent communication skills and keen ability to influence and drive change.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Advanced skills with Microsoft suite—specifically the use of Excel as a strategic tool for analysis, reporting and process improvement, along with expertise in BI, SharePoint, or other data analysis tools.
