The Sr Associate Brand Manager (Sr ABM) will be responsible for supporting the Premium Brands (Ethel M Chocolates and AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate) cell to build brands and deliver the cell value creation plan. They will support the Marketing, Owned Retail, direct to consumer/dCom and External Sales teams and will lead cross-functional business teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various projects and initiatives. Additionally, Sr ABM will have opportunities to assist in the development of brand strategy and the execution of various marketing activities to achieve specific brand/cell objectives, including delivery of NSV, MAC, contribution, and lead insights to drive pack and product innovation.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications required
Minimum 3+ years Marketing work experience required, preferably within CPG industry
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, insights, advertising, best practices
Previous brand management and digital marketing experience
Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management.
Must be able to engage and guide media agency partners to drive execution and experience creating and evaluating creative content fit for today\'s digital consumer.
Previous analytic skills. Must be comfortable analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations.
Proficient in managing complex projects/ Project management
Previous experience in public relations is nice to have
What would be your key responsibilities?
Premium Brands Marketing Moments Owner: Analyze & review brand/cell performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends to offer recommendations to increase effectiveness of plans and execution.
Influence brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer and brand data.
Execute annual Marketing plans inclusive of strategy and tactics with excellence, including cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and readiness of plans, tracking of performance in market, course-correction and learnings to improve future performance. Partner with Marketing Director to ensure all seasonal and year-round programs ladder up to long-term brand plan.
Monitor brand expenditures and consult on the advertising and consumer promotions budget.
Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommendations for future brand activity.
Execute marketing plans – activation, renovation, and innovation – with excellence, including cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and readiness of plans, tracking of performance in market, course-correction and learnings to improve future performance
Develop & track growth levers through flywheel analysis (i.e. price-pack, reach+, etc.)
Lead and manage the Ethel M IAT (integrated agency team) - inclusive of owned and paid tactics through seasonal and evergreen campaigns- to ensure all tactics measure up to campaign KPIs and are within budget including annual planning, brief writing, conducting weekly meetings and ensuring inter-agency collaboration
Marketing Co-pilot for dCom/External Sale Team: Brand consult for dCom on SEO content, digital promotional strategy, and Affiliate Marketing planning and execution
Directly impact dCom channel growth and NSV through paid search and paid social campaigns within seasonal Marketing Moments
Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to measure success of campaigns and special programs, i.e. mailer effectiveness
Partner with marketing director to identify shopper marketing opportunities
Work with sales team to ensure adequate marketing support is allocated to new and existing external sales channels
AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate (AHC) Marketing Co-pilot: Co-Pilot with Brand Director and Mars Chocolate Historian on AHC re-brand strategy and execution for consumers and customer partners
This is inclusive of new brand strategy, innovation opportunities, new retail approach all powered with consumer centric data and insights
Work with agencies to plan and execute all owned omnichannel campaigns inclusive of social, website, email, newsletters, and events
Work with agencies to plan and execute all paid media campaigns and creative in consult with AHC Brand Director
Conduct post evaluation of activations, extracting data and insights to develop lessons learned and recommendations for future brand activity (paid and owned)
Collaborate with Senior dCom manager on trade budget for AHC in order to drive brand sales

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is USD 100,134.00 - 137,677.00. The total compensation package may include other elements, including variable pay & general allowances. Eligible employees are enrolled in a 401(k) plan and may participate in health and life insurance plans; paid parental leave and paid time off are also provided.
