Salary range: $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr.
Responsibilities
Oversight for US leave administration (i.e., sick leave, FMLA, Worker’s Comp, State Leave Coordination (NY, NJ, MA Paid Family/Medical Leave, etc.) for approximately 300 unique leaves per year. Key contact for employees/managers and liaison between third party administrator – with overall responsibility for ensuring that the employee goes out on leave and is returned from leave in an effective manner. Ensures payroll changes are processed accurately.
Support day-to-day administration, operational evolution, and compliance filings/audits for BBH’s 401(k) and pension plans.
Deliver US total reward statements, overseeing complex testing of data feed process to ensure accuracy of highly confidential employee data.
Oversee retiree medical, life insurance and direct bill payments, manage annual retiree communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related disciplines.
3 to 5 years of experience working in HR Benefits.
Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to all types of leaves of absence, including ADA, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation along with coordination with other State Paid Family/Medical leave offerings.
Retirement plan experience preferred.
Vendor/system implementation and project management experience a plus.
Medicare knowledge a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Mail Merge, Pivot Tables, V Lookup, etc.
This role is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week in office.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $80,000-$110,000 + annual bonus target. BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
