RSC is a primer surgery center in the greater Orange County Area. We are a multi specialty center that focuses on facial/body reconstruction, ENT and cosmetics.
The position of a Surgical Technologist is to assist the surgical team during operative procedures. The individual contributes to establishing and maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients. The Surgical Technologist provides patient care and assistance with patient relocation and surgery room cleanliness and organization. Candidates should possess knowledge of the application of sterile instruments and supplies, as well as human anatomy and surgical procedures.
Functions:
Assist in preparation of surgical suite, including all pulling and set-up of supplies and equipment.
Assist with instrument processing, including pre-cleaning, cleaning/washing, and verifying exposure to proper disinfection and sterilization processes, and ensuring integrity of sterile packaging.
Assist with procedures which may include establishment and maintenance of a sterile field, checking all equipment and supplies for proper function, and meeting the needs of each patient and surgeon.
Adherence to the facility policies and procedures, including participation in environmental safety and infection control measures.

Requirements:
BLS Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist training program with subsequent certification in surgical technology
