North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a
Plant Safety Supervisor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead, oversee, and administer safety programs and activities in order to provide for the overall safety of employees in their assigned manufacturing facility.
Your Priorities
Ensures plant compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations/standards.
Administers plant safety events, evaluations, program deployment, and other related activities in order to drive a reduction in work‑related injuries, lost time, and worker’s compensation cost.
Analyzes safety issues, recommending corrective actions, and following up on the implementation and effectiveness of the corrective actions.
Conducts safety training of plant employees and management on how to prevent and/or avoid work‑related accidents and injuries.
Evaluates the design and specifications for new and existing plant equipment and workstations with regard to safety and ergonomic issues and improvements.
Maintains safety records and other related documentation for their assigned manufacturing facility.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
Requirements Your Background
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or a related discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of experience in the safety function in a manufacturing environment.
