Trajan Wealth is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Estate Planning firm dedicated to providing clients with personalized financial strategies. Our mission is to help individuals and families achieve financial security through expert guidance, fiduciary responsibility, and transparent service.
We are looking for a talented and dynamic Producer & Copywriter to join our Trajan Wealth Marketing and Creative team. The Producer & Copywriter will craft compelling and persuasive written content while overseeing the production process from concept through final delivery. The individual leading this role will ensure that the messaging aligns with the creative vision, brand identity, and marketing objectives, meeting deadlines and to a excellent, high‑quality standard.
Note: This position would be onsite 5 days a week at our corporate office in Scottsdale.
Duties and responsibilities
Content creation:
Write and edit compelling, creative, and persuasive copy for a variety of media, such as video, podcast and radio scripts, digital and print ads, email campaigns, BLOGs and website content.
Production management:
Oversee the content production process, managing timelines and coordinating with internal and external teams. This can involve tasks like casting voice‑over talent, managing post‑production, and directing recordings.
Concept development:
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts and strategies for marketing campaigns. Interpret creative briefs and translate marketing objectives into impactful communication.
Cross‑functional collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team as well as cross‑functional content partners, including the investment team, financial advisors, multi‑designers, to ensure messaging and visual assets are cohesive.
Research:
Conduct research on industry trends, educational content, competitor activities, and target audiences to inform content strategy and create relevant, engaging content.
Revision and finalization:
Present concepts and copy to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and proofread content to ensure it is accurate and error‑free before final delivery.
Integrated campaign:
Developing all written content for a multi‑channel campaign, including print ads, website copy, and social media posts, and coordinating with designers and marketing specialists.
Qualifications
Experience:
5‑7 years of professional copywriting experience, such as including work within news, advertising agency or media production setting.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, English, or journalism is preferred.
Strong writing skills:
Exceptional ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive copy across different formats and platforms.
Project management:
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. This role will work very closely with the team Project Manager to outline clear timelines and deliver on‑time.
Creativity:
The capacity to think strategically and develop creative concepts that align with a brand’s vision and goals.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Adaptability:
The ability to accept feedback and adapt to evolving project needs in a fast‑paced environment.
Technical knowledge:
Familiarity with modern marketing channels including all social platforms (YouTube, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Linked In, TikTok) and production processes, especially for digital and broadcast media. Must have a clear understanding of how to use video and editing programs as well as the Adobe Creative Suite.

Video & Film series or Podcast Experience:
Writing the scripts for news programs, a branded online video series and overseeing the editing and graphic production.
Radio ad campaign:
Creating the concept, writing the script, casting voice talent, and managing the recording and final mix for a series of radio commercials.
Integrated campaign:
Developing all written content for a multi‑channel campaign, including print ads, website copy, and social media posts, and coordinating with designers and marketing specialists.
