Job Description The

In‑Suite Dining Attendant

is responsible for our guest requests, which include but are not limited to tray and cart pick‑up, delivery of guest requests and sweeping the guest floors of dishes and other In‑Suite Dining items. The In‑Suite Dining Attendant is accountable for communicating with In‑Suite Dining Manager, Order Taker(s) and Captain on shift responsibilities, executing flawless service in the front and back of house and ensuring food offering and presentation is luxury. Your passion for all things F&B will lead you to provide the highest quality of service and hospitality.

Hourly Rate: $22.21

What you will be doing

All table/tray/cart return duties and checking with guest for pick up convenience.

Perform floor sweeps as needed, picking up used In Suite Dining equipment, tableware and table linens.

Bus all tables, trays, and carts.

Check with order taker, captain and manager regarding specific duties for the shift.

Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: ice, dishes, and utensils; replenish as needed.

Assist guest regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.

Schedule Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Qualifications

One (1) year work experience is an asset

Previous experience in luxury hotel environment desirable

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process

Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally

Licenses or Certificates

Valid Driver’s License required

TB Clearance required

Hawaii State Food Safety Certification required
