Callanan Industries, Inc., a CRH Company, was founded in 1883 as an aggregate mining company. This hybrid position offers a diverse set of job responsibilities and the flexibility to work remote 2 days a week. Position requirements include working with the entire accounting staff on month end closings, budget/reforecast and other projects as necessary. The main emphasis is a team concept and the commitment to do what is needed to get the job done. Essential duties include, but not limited to, the following:

Ensure internal controls are maintained to safeguard the financial assets of Callanan Industries, Inc. This includes all SOX controls, CRH AMAT and Northeast Division accounting policies and procedures.

Assist with requests/documentation related to external and internal audits.

Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.

Reconcile various balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure all balances are reconciled and contain appropriate supporting backup.

Assist on completing budgets and reforecasts for Callanan Industries, Inc.

Complete necessary journal entries as required.

Work on ad hoc projects as directed.

Regular and predictable attendance.

Must pass pre-employment screenings.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven ability to develop relationships and to work both independently as well as in a team environment

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a salary of $65,000 - $75,000
