Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient General Surgery team. This is a dynamic, patient-centered role designed for an advanced practice provider passionate about optimizing outcomes, driving process improvement, and delivering exceptional, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive inpatient surgical rounds using the Rounding to Influence model to ensure safety, quality, and a seamless patient experience.
Partner with executive, clinical, and physician leaders to identify and execute strategies that enhance care delivery and surgical performance.
Analyze data trends to inform decision-making, improve care reliability, and strengthen cost‑effective outcomes.
Collaborate with care managers on discharge planning—completing summaries, medication reconciliation, prescriptions, and arranging follow‑up care.
Apply Enhanced Recovery principles to proactively identify opportunities for improvement across the surgical continuum.
