The Job Facilities Management

is recruiting for a

Parts Specialist

who will be responsible for tracking, procuring, storing, locating and issuing parts for a wide variety of building trades, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, as well as general maintenance items used in the upkeep of County buildings and facilities. Additional duties include maintaining a computer database of parts used, received and issued; upkeep of inventory and records; placing and monitoring orders; and reconciling credit card purchases and accounting codes for payment. *Official Title :

Pre-Employment Process:

Prior to appointment, applicants must undergo a background check which includes fingerprints, medical exam, and review of employment history.

Must be able to reach, lift, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., either manually or with the aid of lifting devices. Travel:

Minimum Requirements Experience:

One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience working in a parts procurement environment with primary responsibility for all of the following: locating, ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing materials and parts utilizing a computerized inventory management system.

Desired Qualifications Forklift experience and computer skills using Internet search engines, word processing, and spreadsheet programs are highly desirable.
