Oregon Truss
Oregon Truss is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced senior Millwright to join our team in Dayton, OR. You will be instrumental in ensuring our machinery is in top condition, enhancing our operational efficiency, and maintaining our reputation for quality. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a proven track record of maintaining industrial machines.
Install, maintain, dismantle, and machinery as required. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Align and adjust machinery as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with a team of technicians and provide guidance when needed. Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading. Troubleshoot and maintain electric motors, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment. Requirements
Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance or related fields. Physical ability to handle heavy machinery. Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools. Able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., as well as stand, bend, twist and kneel for long periods of time. Must be a team player and willing to work with minimal supervision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outdoor weather conditions, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles. Benefits:
