About the role

To support our commitment to continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Supervisor. This critical role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring audit readiness, and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Support quality team operations including scheduling, training, and performance documentation

Conduct lab testing, investigations, and maintain accurate records

Manage product and raw material specifications and ensure compliance with testing protocols

Maintain and improve quality systems, SOPs, and documentation

Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and manage lab supplies

Assist in food safety programs including HACCP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring

Act as SQF Practitioner or equivalent GFSI representative

Qualifications and skills

Required

Strong organizational and planning skills to maximize efficiency and ensure safety

Commitment to excellence and building effective internal and external relationships

Knowledge of GFSI standards (e.g., SQF, BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000)

Understanding of food safety regulations, FSMA, and industry trends

Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently

Experience with quality systems, SSOPs, environmental hygiene, and HACCP

Strong problem-solving and team leadership abilities

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related science/engineering field

Preferred

1-2 years of quality experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or distribution environment

Familiarity with lab, quality, and food safety systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills

Working Conditions

Food manufacturing and warehouse environment

Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet conditions

Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules

?The pay range for this position is $64,479.00-$105,272.00. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
