Northrop Grumman is seeking a

Staff Systems Engineer, Systems Architect

(T05 Level). This position will be located in

Roy, Utah

and will support the

Sentinel program

.

The successful applicant will perform a critical role as the architecture team prepares for major program events including First Flight and Critical Design Review. The applicant will be a primary architecture expert on the team. They will work hand-in-hand with the Architecture Lead to establish vision for uses and digital integration points of the architecture model products, develop and assess changes to governance and process, coordinate approach and process with sub-integrated-product-teams (IPTs) and program-level leadership, review content for quality and compliance, train team members, and tackle some of the most challenging problems facing missile architecture.

The successful applicant will also:

Demonstrate leadership principles - Integrity, respect, organizational, communication, etc.

Generate and maintain SysML and DoDAF models in Cameo EA; interface with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers and specialty engineers to capture GBSD structure and behavior using accurate DoDAF/SysML representations

Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems

Prepare and present content in internal reviews and customer CDRs, support CDRL deliveries

Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)

Basic Qualifications

Requires 12 years of relatable work experience with Bachelors Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM); 10 years with a Masters; or 8 years with a PhD

Must be a US Citizen with an

active DoD Secret Clearance

with an investigation date within the last 6 years

Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) experience:- Minimum 3 years Cameo EA experience (or similar tool)- Minimum 2 years of DOORS or related experience- Experience integrating requirements, performance and interface, into MBSE tools

Preferred Qualifications

Active TS//SCI Clearance with SAP clearance

Significant experience with Cameo model governance development and refinement

Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles

Experience with Software modeling

4+ years of Systems engineering experience

Experience with complex system development on large programs

ICBM/Missile experience

Experience with flight hardware

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.??

Primary Level Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
