Job Title: 2nd Assembler - Pumps
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Assembler to join our team in assembling pumps and valves, ensuring the highest hygiene standards for various industries. This role involves using hand and power tools and requires training on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift. The department will be relocating out of state in fall 2026, offering options for relocation, severance, or transitioning to other departments.
Responsibilities
Assemble pumps and valves using hand and power tools.
Access job lists via a computer screen to determine necessary units, parts, and tools.
Ensure quality and mechanical assembly standards are met.
Participate in a 2-week training program with a dedicated trainer.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Experience in assembly and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required within a year of conversion to permanent status. The company offers a funded GED program.
Capable of lifting 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).
Ability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
Comfortable with climbing, standing, and using equipment.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, organized, and large manufacturing facility with clearly labeled sections. The second shift operates from 2PM to 10:30PM, with potential for mandatory overtime. The first shift runs from 6AM to 2:30PM, with possible overtime until 4:30PM. The facility follows strict 5S principles, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
