Electrical & Controls Technician – Build Field-Ready Systems That Power Clean Energy

We’re hiring Electrical & Controls Technicians to wire, test, and commission the next generation of our distributed energy and carbon capture platforms. You'll work hands-on with power, control, and instrumentation systems that must perform in real-world environments. This role is critical to making sure our systems are safe, functional, and field-ready. You'll be the link between engineering design and operational reality. What You’ll Do
Build and wire electrical panels and field devices to spec Install and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, relays, and VFDs Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections across modular systems Calibrate sensors and validate control loops (thermal, gas, pressure) Read and interpret schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams Support commissioning and field deployment of systems Work with engineers and other team members to diagnose problems, debug issues, and close feedback loops fast while maintaining accurate documentation of changes and updates. Provide assistance with continuous improvement of control systems, wiring standards, and panel design practices. Support a wide range of business needs beyond electrical and controls items, assisting cross-functional teams with prototyping, assembly, testing, and general operations as required to meet project and organizational goals. Communicate clearly and proactively with team members, engineers, and leadership to share progress, flag issues early, provide solutions, and keep projects moving efficiently. Demonstrate flexibility to support extended work hours or workweeks as needed to meet critical project deadlines or business priorities. Requirements What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience with electrical systems and controls Ability to read and follow schematics and technical drawings Comfortable with tools, meters, and shop/lab environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Team-first attitude and willingness to own the outcome U.S.-based only. No relocation assistance Bonus Points For: Electrical certifications or trade licenses (Journeyman, OSHA 10/30, etc.) Experience with PLCs, HMIs, or industrial automation Background in energy systems, manufacturing, or cleantech Benefits Why You’ll Love It Here
