Summary: We are on the lookout for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to lead the Rails Ecommerce site and drive exciting ecommerce-related initiatives. This vital position will oversee strategy execution, performance optimization, and enhancements for Rails.com and its international platforms. The Ecommerce Operations Manager will report to the VP of Ecommerce. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the VP of Ecommerce to develop innovative e-commerce strategies that boost online sales and optimize conversion rates. Conduct daily site reviews to ensure an exceptional, best-in-class user experience, aligning the site with our Brand strategy and conducting quality assurance regularly. Deliver effective solutions promptly to drive online revenue growth. Work alongside cross-functional teams to create short- and long-term strategies that enhance the overall customer experience across all E-Commerce platforms. Oversee UX/UI improvements and web development, implementing features and optimizations to enhance user engagement and conversion rates across multiple international sites. Manage the integration of new 3rd party tools and maintain relationships with vendors and agencies. Implement and manage Shopify themes, overseeing content, product creation, and page management. Develop comprehensive reporting for all online sales channels, detailing KPIs, customer experiences, opportunities, strategies for sales growth, and minimizing customer friction. Analyze current ecommerce metrics and KPIs to guide project prioritization effectively. Conduct A/B testing, competitive landscape analysis, and compile reports on site performance trends. Support stakeholder requests and address troubleshooting needs from various cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, warehouse, and IT. Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in E-commerce or omni-channel roles. At least 3 years of experience with Shopify Plus, demonstrating a strong understanding of the complete Shopify ecosystem, including themes, apps, liquid template language, and web development languages (HTML and CSS). Proven experience in integrating and managing 3rd party tools/vendors within the overall tech stack (e.g., Klaviyo, Nosto). Strong understanding of customer behaviors, industry trends, and best practices. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. High proficiency in Excel. Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or comparable analytics platforms. Genuine interest and understanding of the contemporary fashion industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience with international e-commerce is a plus. Familiarity with paid media strategies is advantageous. Collaborative by nature; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners. Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing responsibilities. Must be able to maintain a presence at our Los Angeles office for four days a week.
