We are in search of a talented DevOps Specialist with a robust background in backend engineering. This role focuses on application deployment, automated continuous integration testing, and performance monitoring. $45 - $50 per hour This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants should be prepared to work on a W2 basis and transition to full-time employment after the contract duration. Responsibilities: Communication and Collaboration:

Exhibit strong communication skills and collaborate effectively within a team. Share progress updates, seek assistance when necessary, and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.

Continuous Learning:

Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development and cloud infrastructure management.

Technology Knowledge:

Stay current with agile best practices, relevant technologies, and security best practices.

Skills & Qualifications: Version Control:

Proficient in using version control systems like Git to manage collaborative development and codebase changes.

Terraform:

Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience using Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

CI/CD Pipelines:

Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Jenkins.

Scripting & Automation:

Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, and PowerShell.

Linux & System Administration:

Comprehensive understanding of file systems, process management, and performance tuning.

AWS Services:

Familiarity with core AWS services, including: AWS Lambda for serverless functions AWS S3 for storage AWS API Gateway for creating RESTful APIs AWS DynamoDB for NoSQL solutions AWS EC2 for virtual server management AWS RDS for relational databases AWS CloudFront for content delivery AWS CloudWatch for monitoring applications

Database Management:

Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Experience Requirements: Required Experience:

5 years in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).

3 years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript.

Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

Pay rates will be determined based on skills, experience, and other compensable factors. The quoted range is for W2 hourly rates; other employment options may exist that may offer different pay structures.
