This role focuses on the management and coordination of procurement and sourcing for essential Telecom/Fiber Provider supplies, services, and equipment within a cost-competitive environment. Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate optimal pricing and terms. A successful Strategic Sourcing Specialist should excel in data analysis, contract negotiation, and relationship building. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with management to develop effective purchasing strategies and maintain positive supplier relationships. Analyze spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings. Implement strategic sourcing plans to enhance overall supply chain operations. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and delivery efficiency. Negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and pricing. Monitor and report on supply chain performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate supplier information in procurement databases. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sourcing strategies. Stay informed about market trends and advancements in sourcing practices. Assist in risk management for supply contracts. Facilitate communication to resolve disputes with suppliers. Analyze and compare quotations to support informed sourcing decisions. Maintain organized records and assist with additional projects as needed. Collaborate on Source to Pay and Procurement transformation initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a relevant field. 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain. Preferred certifications such as CPSM or similar. Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with PeopleSoft Purchasing and related systems. Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms. Excellent project management skills. Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Negotiation expertise with vendors. A collaborative team player. Required Education & Experience:
Associate Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three years in purchasing and inventory control in a service or industrial environment.
